ORDINANCE REGULATING THE CONTROL OF BARKING DOGS
IN THE TOWN OF GORHAM
No person shall own, keep or harbor any dogs which by loud, frequent or habitual barking,
howling or yelping, shall disturb the peace of any person or persons.
No person shall be prosecuted on this ordinance unless that person has had written
warning from a duly qualified police officer in the Town of Gorham. The warning shall be made
part of the complaint and shall include but not be limited to date and time the warning was issued.
Any person found guilty in a Court of Law shall be fined an amount of not more than
$25.00 recoverable by the Town of Gorham.
